Conclusion: no, it's not black (you can clearly see the blondish undertone, which means: brown), my guess is that it's just VERY GREASY/full of product.

OK. I have a theory, here. Everyone, listen up:

THIS IS THE TRAILER OF THE NEW BLADE RUNNER MOVIE (Blade Runner 2049)

SEEING/HEARING ANYTHING FAMILIAR? That's exactly my point.

I'm thinking the new song might actually be part of the soundtrack. It all adds up, really:

- Muse don't usually release songs "randomly";
- This snippet of Matt playing the guitar;
- Jared Leto stars in the movie and they're touring with 30STM;
- the font used for "COMING SOON" and the Blade Runner logo. Coincidence?
- this CLEARLY possibly cyberpunk themed video... just the day before the Blade Runner trailer;
- the film's current status is: POST PRODUCTION;
- IT WOULD JUST MAKE SO MUCH SENSE CONSIDERING DRONES/MUSE/BLADE RUNNER/EVERYTHING

+++ (just because I really like this theory):

Jóhann Jóhannsson, who has composed the music for the movie RECORDS HIS STUFF AT AIR STUDIOS, LONDON - just where the boys happened to record these "few" tracks a few months ago. WHY AIR STUDIOS, now, IF THEY COULD HAVE DONE THAT EASILY IN LA??????????
ANOTHER COINCIDENCE? DON'T THINK SO.

Okay, this theory really makes sense for me :D Maybe they recorded like two or three songs, all for the Blade Runner 2049, and now we're about to get no 1 with a lovely video :P
